Question CCW choice- Sr40c or M&P40c

Currently I carry a SR9c, LC9, Colt Officers .45. I'm thinking of getting either a SR40c or M&P40c. I like my SR9c and my Colt. The Colt is very heavy compared to the Ruger. The Advantage of a SR40c is that I like the platform, use to the platform, would fit the same holster.
Never shot a M&P (and don't think I will get a chance due to ammo shortage). They look nice and if I remember correctly, it felt pretty good in my hand.

And then there is the other possibility........ A Cimmeron .45 long colt Thunderball revolver with 3 1/2 barrel and birds head grips!
This year will go down in history.... Don't want to offend anybody

I prefer my off roster Shield. My 45 is too heavy. I use a 357 snub by on my ankle. My buddy carries an Src 40 because of he reason you stated.

I would personally choose M&P40C but you can't go wrong with a SR40C

Between the 2, I'd choose the SR40c.

M&P40C - always. Great guns. Easy to use. Fun to shoot. Easy to manage.

neither.....glock 26 or 27

In all seriousness I would go with the M&P. The ergos are great. the trigger on the SR40 is pretty sweet though. Also I believe the SR40 is more thin than the M&P. As others have stated, maybe look into the shield if you like the M&P's.

good luck with the ccw process!
