You can spend a lot of money to put the Hubble JR. on your 10/22, but if it doesn't shoot to the same place all you will get is a really great view of a group.
Check the rimfirecentral.com folks for bench-rest recommendations and then put some glass on a good rifle. FWIW a nice Savage 93 will let you shoot the staples out of your friends targets. Just blame the wind.

i use a Simmons 3-9x32 AO scope on mine. love it. decent glass and $60. I bought some burris zee rings instead of using the cheapo rings this thing comes with. still use the standard/stock scope rail from ruger
