Default Need help with Bushmaster ACR folding stock

I picked up the stock block from riflegear a few days ago. I'm stuck on how to install the pin. Here are the instructions from riflegear's website:

1) Use a punch to drift out the stock hinge pin and remove the folding stock assembly.
2) Remove the stock release button and spring
3) Put the stock block inside of the spring and reinstall the release button
4) Slide the stock assembly back into place
5) Use a punch to reinstall the stock hinge pin

Step 1 is completed and the hinge pin is removed. However the folding stock assembly does not come out on its own. Removing the hinge pin does not release any assembly. There is a window on the other side (as shown in pic 2) where I can dig out the spring. Is this what I need to do next? I'm confused

On the back side of the button is a small rectangular hole, stick a small screwdriver in it to lift the tab and pop the button assembly out.

Default Undoing this Modification:

Since this post if the first google search result for "pin acr folding stock", I thought I would add some thoughts for those who wish to undo the modifcation:

I originally purchased the Basic non-folding ACR. I decided to purchase the folding stock and pin-it, but I just went and got a small nylon-dowel from Lowes and cut it to size. I did not remove the hinge-pin and instead used force & a mallet to force the stock closed with the button-pin-block inside.

If you ever want to remove the block, however, there really isn't a way to remove it unless you take the hinge-pin out. The most important thing to remember is that there is another small spring in the hinge-barrel that keeps the stock in the open position under pressure. Look at the middle image of the 2nd row of images on this link: http://tyrdynamics.com/bushmaster-ac...ing-stock.html In that picture you can see where the spring is poking out one side of the hinge barrel.

Anyways, I didn't know this hinge spring was in there, so when I removed the folding section of the stock, the spring launched out like a rocket and flew across the dark garage. By sheer luck, it landed back again in front of me, and then I spent 10min finding out where the heck the thing was supposed to go.

Anyways, hope this helps someone else! In case you need to undo this mod because you're moving to a free state!!!

Never mind, figured it out. You come in from the other side of the stock from the button. There is cavity there and through it you can reach the bottom of the inside of the button. Stick a screwdriver in there and work the button off.

Now both SCARs and my ACR are finally free-country compliant.

I used a tiny 4-40 set screw to pin the button from underneath. Unless you look, you can't tell it's there
