Default Laser grip for Smith and Wesson 686 Revolver

I have a Crimson Trace laser for my Sig P320 and love it. It makes me a better shooter, and is ideal for low light defensive uses. I want a laser for my S&W Model 686 357 Magnum round butt revolver. Since there is no rail for mounting a laser, it looks like the best option is a grip with a built in laser made by Crimson Trace. I also see one made by Hogue, but the reviews arenít the best.

Crimson Trace lists 3 different models for my firearm; 207, 306, and 308. I want the most comfortable grip to accommodate my large hands, and Iím leaning towards the 308. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge between these different laser grips?

Also, I would prefer a green laser instead of the red one, but I donít think there is one made for the 686. If Iím wrong, please let me know. Thanks!

Unfortunately it does not look like they make a green laser model for your firearm.

The LG-308 would be the most comfortable but the LG-306 might be a better choice if you ever carry the gun.

Definitely go with the rubber overmold model.

I have a Hogue Laser Grip on one of my 1911s. The grip is very comfortable and the laser is programmable compared to Crimson Trace (pulsing vs constant and other activation/timing setttings).
