Default Fair price for .45 ACP Projectiles?

During this madness, what would you say is a fair price for 1000x .45 ACP 230gr FMJ projectiles? How about 230gr JHP?

Who's making them?

Jose's Bullet Company, or Speer, Sierra, Hornady or Montana Gold?

It makes a difference to me.

You could probably ask 25¢ for them. I would give you $80 for the lot.

Most of the cast lead bullets I see (.45 ACP 230 GR RN) are $74.00 to $105.00 per 1k. Not sure of this helps you with the value on Plated FMJs or JHPs

Figure $160/K for the plated Rainer and $315/K for the Remington JHP. Anything more than that is a "premium" price.

Local shop is asking $50 for a 50rnd box of PMC 230gr ball. They got hosed by the other end so that's what they have to charge. Their WWB .40 ball is still $25 box though.

So $239 shipped from Cabelas for 1k of the Remington 230gr JHP is a good deal then? We're talking PROJECTILES only, not loaded ammo.

Here's a link for anyone interested:

Yes, that is a good price. PV usually sells the Rem 230 JHP for $300/K when they are available.
