Only way to really tell is to have it appraised. I have one also, I saw one in a shop that was marked $1700, it looked pretty beat up compared to mine.

Try to post some pictures & parts breakdown if possible. If you have any paperwork related to the gun is a plus too. I'm sure some C&R experts will chime in. Good luck.

Get it appraised by someone who knows what they're looking for.

And we can't give you anything more than a ballpark figure without being able to see it.

My guess is that it was manufactured between 1911 and 1945, it's worth somewhere between $0 and $15,000.

With the info that you have given, those go for about $16,000 to $25,000 dollars.

post some good, clear, and detailed pics and we can help you. In general Ithacas will range from $700 (mixmaster) to $2500 (for a nice minty example). Serial numbers that can be documented to go to the Navy will be worth more.

No, using all capital letters is shouting even without exclamation marks and is bad form. People forgive/ignore all kinds of spelling, grammar and punctuation errors but all capital letters annoys many of us greatly.

Seriously, it isn't hard to press the shift key once at the beginning of a sentence. If you can't take the time to do that why should we take the time to help you?

your SN you PM'd says it is a Remington Rand Lower made between 1944-45
of 184,600 units Mfg'd.
Yours is quite common mismatch....Don't fret. Post some pics.
your Barrel should have an HS for High standard or an "F" for Flannery.
Does you Lower have any marking on the right side that indicate rebuild?
Such as RIA...this would indicate a Depot rebuild...but not always did rebuilds have markings either....

I used to have hundred of 1911's in my care in the Military as an Armeror...had cleanig partys, take all of them apart and have an assy line of privates cleaning them....no wonders how they all were mismatched.

thats a Flannery Mfg Barrel.

also, counts the Ribs on your back straps...7 is Ithaca, 8 is RemRand. Unless it is Checkered.

Oh boy, well...now it depends on the number of the Stiples...there are 5 to choose from:
Singer: I doubt it
Early Rem Rand
Early Colt
Early Ithaca
US&S

Would need to see a close up pic...
