Default Glock

It always seems to work out this way. Every time I find a gun I want to buy, it either no where to be found or not cal legal.

So I've grown some interest in getting a glock 34. My local gun shop does not have one and there seems to be no ETA. They also stated that's with all glocks and not just this particular model.

Does anyone happen to know what's going on with glock?

The buying craze has definitely spread to handguns now. I didn't care much for GLOCKs for a long time, but I recently shot 2 and my opinion is changing.

I shot a 34 really well, but disliked the ergonomics. In retrospect, it may have just been the grip angle, but the extended magazine release was digging into my left palm with my thumbs forward grip.

I shot my friend's 17 yesterday and liked it a lot. It felt really secure in my hands. I would probably swap out the standard sights if I got one. Damn it, now I want a GLOCK!

They are still available in some local small shops. Keep looking, they are out there.

You can never have too many GLOCKS, too many LOWERs or too much ammo.

Same thing here. I've a hankering for a Smith & Wesson M&P 45c. Bought a G-30sf this month instead. I'll hang onto it until I can find an M&P used or S&W alters it for DOJ list compliance.

Glock said at SHOT Show that there is a backorder of 600,000 guns.

I heard if you place an order now, it won't be fulfilled till summer.

Where are you located?

As previously mentioned, many brick and mortar shops still have inventory available.

I live in Tracy, CA. 1 hour south of sacramento and 1 hour east of San Francisco. I called all my regular spots with no luck.

Local shops that still have one in stock are your best bet

I'm starting to get interested in trying a G30sf for a new HD pistol. Probably not a good time right now but I'll keep a lookout when/if times get better availability-wise.

I bought a gen3 g19 w/night sights and 2 mags lnib for$ 390
before the craze. I knew if I did not want to keep it I could sell it for at least $400 and not loose money on it. image.jpg

$390 is a pretty screaming deal, panic or no panic. You have done well!
