Chupacabra or possum.

Did it stink so much that you could not get a closer shot?

Where were you?

the infamous liberal leaf licker. I think they are plentiful in your neck of the woods. that's what happens to them when a stick breaks.

I was at the very top of a mountain in Cleveland National Forest. It is definitely lion territory but I have never seen one. There is a bobcat sighted by the neighbors at the bottom of the mountains but I have never seen it. I still have the tag in my wallet though. Turkey Vultures are the only birds I see. Ravens have vanished.

Bobcat scate is twisted and segmented, that looks like a bird, fox and coyote is twisted at the end. I guess from the bad or low resolution image, and no size reference, that it is a large bird, but smaller that a goose.

Nice racks are much better. You can grab both sides of the rack to help stabilize while mounting.

If you were in an area common to hikers, could be a domestic dog.

Not a chance any “hikers” would be in the area. I was way out on a ridge line near cows and the 3 1/2 year 4 pointer I’m trying to kill this year. The chit I have to walk through is nasty.

There are houses near by but the poo is U shaped which peeked my interest. It was hard and had no smell.

Tasted just like all other poop I’ve tried.

It was about the width of my palm and did not extend past my fingers. I have hands a medium B cup will fill.

Did you try some BBQ sauce on it? Relish?
Also good to wash it down with some soda.
