Default TargetSportsUSA...Federal American Eagle, 9mm/124gr...$169.80/cs shipped After Rebate

More continuance of the Federal American Eagle Handgun Ammo Rebate....now TargetSportsUSA has reduced their price on a case of 9mm 124gr ammo to $219.80, down from $239.80.

With the rebate, final price would be $169.80 for a case of 1000

This online ammo war is getting good....

I agree with the ammo war! Too bad it's not a full 25% off, the rebate tops off at a max of $50. I think my math shows that 25% of $219.80 is $54.95.

All in all, great find!!! I'm going to have to stop buying Cabela GC's now prices on other sites are on the move. Don't get me wrong, when there is something at Cabela's you want and it's a sale price, GC + AJ is much better.

Good deal OP thanks!
By the way if any of you are hunting for ammo, you can use Ammoseek to find what you want and compare by price/round. Here's an example search for 9mm, brass, factory new ammo.

Looks like this:

It won't find rebate deals AFAIK though, so it's still good to look for posts like this one by OP.

Tell me about it.
I'm trying to refrain from taking advantage of all these crazy ammo deals lately cause I still have $600 in Cabelas gift cards specifically for ammo.
Come on Cabela's! Time to step up your sales game.

This price from Target is 17 cpr for Fed American Eagle and you have to do all the rebate BS.
Is this THAT much of a better deal than going through Freedom Munitions for a case (or other qty) of 9mm/115g RN new at 17.3 cpr (if you use the MAC 6% off code). I've had pretty good luck using FM rounds.
Doing the rebates, on the other hand, is hit or miss for me. The last rebate on Winchester 45acp for $50 off, I screwed up by waiting too long because I got busy and forgot.
However, I am taking full advantage of the Federal $200 off rebate on 556.
For 0.3 cpr savings for 9mm though, I may pass on yet another $50 rebate and go the easy way.
Just another option if you don't mind Freedom Munitions ammo, which has been good to me.

^^^^I reload and would rather pick up the Federal brass and I'm getting 147's for 16.9 cpr. I've shot lots of Freedom without issue but I quit using them when prices started dropping.

So my ammo arrived today....

But, for the rebate I assume I'm having to cut out each of the boxes UPC label?

Yes, you need to cut all of the barcodes out. I did for the last rebate ($40). It's not too bad. Just put an extra stamp when you mail in your rebate form to make sure it gets there.

If we buy a case does the case box have a Barcode and can we use that? I'm lazy.

For one, usually 124gr ammo runs a little more money than 115gr. I've gotten into the habit of always buying 124gr, so I look for deals.

Secondly, I can ALWAYS get Freedom Munitions at their cheaper prices....so I like taking advantage of a deal on a costlier product, one that makes you feel you got a better deal . American Eagle 124gr is hard to find under $220-240.

Thirdly, one of my 9mm handguns (a modded Tanfoglio Stock ll) won't pop Freedom Munition or Blazer Brass primers.

Fourthly, Hickok45 shoots mostly American Eagle 124gr.....'nuff said

On the last rebate I got all I did was a copy of the bill showing quantity and price and only sent in the bar code from the sticker on the case box.

If it's an after rebate price, it's not a shipped price. Just sayin'.

FYI - I called and spoke to a CSR in the Rebate Center. Asked if it was acceptable to just send in the one UPC code off the main box for the 1000 round case of 124gr AE I purchased. She said that was perfectly fine as they'd rather not have to deal with 20 UPC's.

Damn. Wish I'd read this before having to clip 15 UPC codes from 50-round boxes in the case. Dropped it in the mail earlier today. Carpal tunnel here I come.

HAHA... I just got done clipping 10 boxes. I guess this still saved me from clipping the rest.
