Nice racks are much better. You can grab both sides of the rack to help stabilize while mounting.

it's the older model Remington, Monte Carlo stock its real accurate and fits me just right that's the only reason I kept it. The draw back its just real heavy not something to carry out into the hills on a long hike.
Lewis the buck is 26'' .
Yes its a private land hunt that seems like public quite a few people are allowed to hunt it the last few days looked like opening week end in d-6 lol..
..
I had made friends with the ranch hand that worked on the barb wire fences he only spoke Spanish and since I can speak some I asked him if he saw anything big.He tells me how he has seen a big buck jump over from one field to the other with a few doe's the last few days then I knew I had him since the whole lot of guys where on the other side of the ranch.Honestly I did not sleep that whole night....Jose will be getting pepper sticks jerky what ever he wants..

Good eating right there. If I was closer I'd take it off your hands, if you give it to me for free that is.

Quick memory lane and not to steal your spotlight.....Back about 20 years ago when I lived with my parents. We had a next door neighbor who would hunt pheasants, ducks, geeses, deer, and other animals. He would give us a bunch of his kills that evening or the next day. He also went fishing in Alaska and some crazy states and countries. We had meat/poultry for years. I would say about 14 years?? We never had to buy beef-on-steroids/harmones. He bought us a freezer and left it in the garage to stuff all the goodies in there. Til'this day, they still have the freezer! No meat left as we were a family of 9!!!! He never asked for a penny. He took my dad on some hunts but he didn't enjoy killing those animals. He was in his late 60's. He eventually died and then his wife past away a few years later. The four kids he had fought for the house and eventually the oldest got the house, the others got the GUNS and anything they can get. Til'this day, the oldest still lives there, by my parents. They are like our extended family. It's a bummer the oldest doesn't hunt. True story.
