Default Does your firearm need to be on roster for San Bernardino County?

I have personally seen conflicting stories on this one. I know of plenty of counties that allow off roster firearms to be on your CCW. But I cant find any information on it for SBC. Does anyone have any information they can share?

Yes it can be off roster but it has to be registered to you or wife/husband and has to be registered under the correct caliber in case you bought it under SSE as a different one. My wife and I both have her Glock 42 and my Walther PPS on our permit, no problem.

Yes, you can always call to confirm with the ccw unit. I did that the first time too.

I have a Colt 1911 and a Glock 43 on my SB county issued permit. Tnlrat37 has it all correct in post #2.

I'm in San Bernardino and I have three off roster handguns on mine.

Smith 1006 is pre roster
G42 was never on roster

and

M&P40c fell off roster.

But all three are on the Rooster.
