6am at Spenceville Shooting Range

Met a nice Calgunner over the weekend for a partial trade my XDs for his GoPro and cash. Of course I had to put the camera to use the next day

I try to arrive shortly before the crack of dawn to set up targets and my gear so once I can actually see its go time. Plus as many of you know it gets to be the Wild West especially on the weekends after around 9-10am. For those new to this range, its a public range behind Beale AFB with no range master and can be very unsafe at certain times. Awesome spot though in the early hours with berms at around 25, 50, 100, 200, 250+ yards (approximate guesses, I haven't brought a rangefinder yet).

Looks like a good time, I have been thinking about heading out there around 530 so I can shoot for an hour or two like this with no one there on a weekday. Its stupid once everyone shows up. I stopped going on the weekends.

That would be hilarious, have the front surrounded by bullet proof glass and a snack shack.

I did have a holster but at that moment it was quicker to drop it (and lack of training too - I really should have reholstered before transitioning). And then... It's a Glock.
