Nicely done for a first effort!
Suggestion: If you continue with these types of 'enhancements', then perhaps do the skulls on the grip section ONLY and then carry your second motif (barbed wire in this case) to the slide.
Overall - well done...

Is that procedure pretty durable? Especially if its in and out of a holster?

Asking for a friend...

Do you like it and plan to keep it? If the answer is ‘Yes’ then you didn’t ruin it.

Do you see yourself selling it in the future? If the answer is ‘Yes’ then it’s possible you may take a hit to move it.

I prefer to leave my guns simple looking, but it looks nicely done.

Curious....... is that supposed to be a map of Cambodia/Vietnam on the right rear side of the slide? I feel like listening to Jimi Hendrix's All Along the Watchtower when I look at it.

Actually looks good. The barb wire got a little thick and needs a little detail. Maybe a little stencil refinement will give it that fold and twist look.

That was my first thought. I would of gone cerokote so it doesn’t look like crap from holster wear. At least you didn’t stipple, cut into the frame or add a bunch of parts that make it less reliable.

That's really cool, especially doing it yourself. I don't want any fancy or tricked out guns, but I enjoy seeing other people's work and projects, its very cool!

ETA I did rattle can my hunting shotgun, it was fun and I think it came out pretty good.

As long you are happy with it. I stippled, cyerakote and mill the slides on all my glocks. then, IMO they are almost perfect...good job for the first try.

Durakote is not as tough as cerokote but it will survive numerous draws and carry. I have damn near 30 coats on the front end of the slide and nose. I used one tablespoon of each color and trust me, a half of tablespoon would have been more than adequate.

Today Iím looking for smaller measuring spoons as Iím doing a Keltec 32 next. Thatís about 1/2 to 1/4 the size of a Glock surface area wise.

I dig it. Good thing about cerakote, you can redo it again, unlike a bad stipple job.

When you finally get tired of it, it should be an easy sell in the Castro district.

Is this what humblebragging is like?
Very tight job on the stencils! impressive... Also, you may want to invest in a lanyard - might lose it in the bushes.

Popcorn? Popcorn? Where is the freakin bacon....can't have a poll with out the bacon

I like it. I would like even with the sculls and barbed wire on a black background.

I was thinking of doing a scull theme on my AR.

Take care

It it your weapon OP. If you like it, then it is cool!

If you're asking honest opinions; It is 'taste free'.

I've found it to be a good rule of thumb to live by to, not, stand next to people with such firearms at trainings or at public ranges.

Other than it looks more toyish than a regular plastic pistol... I find that more "incredulous," than, "ruined."

It came out looking good. Have you tested it on other surfaces to see how well it would hold up against friction?
