My M1A Scout in EBR chassis weight 10.5 pounds without optic or mag. Its not my favorite rifle to shoot offhanded. But it is definitely my favorite rifle to shoot with a bipod.

Beautiful setup you've got there. Where did you get your Sage stock? I've been seriously thinking about changing the Troy MCS my rifles currently in for a Sage.

My Crazy Horse M21A5 EBR SASS in a rare, first generation Mod 1 stock.
The rifle was built for me by Smith Enterprise, Inc. on a heel stamped Poly Tech receiver. The SEI sound suppressor was purchased from Fisher Suppressors. I am currently searching for a 1.25" tall cheek riser for the CTR butt stock. |

My 'lightweight' MK14 SEI.
Standard profile, chrome lined 18.0" M118LR SEI barrel on a heel stamped Norinco receiver with TRW op rod, bolt and trigger group. This rifle is not currently set up to accept the SEI sound suppressor. It is set up for shorter ranges, but I can reach out accurately with iron sights. Here is my very first modernized M14... originally built in the early months of 2005 and updated soon after the 2006 SilencerTests Shoot.
Crazy Horse MK14 SEI USN Mod 0 in a rare 1 of 25 full length Navy Gray EBR stock. Built on a heel stamped Norinco receiver with TRW bolt, op rod and trigger group. Last edited by H2O MAN; 07-02-2013 at 11:51 AM.. |

Lastly, my M21A5 'light' in a USGI synthetic stock with RRM.
The stock originally had short side rails... I removed them and plan on having SEI install a set of their side rails. I use the M3 Breech Shield to deflect blow back gasses & debris away from my face. This rifle is a real pleasure to shoot Last edited by H2O MAN; 07-02-2013 at 11:52 AM.. |

One question H2O. -Doe's the sage Cantilevered scope base you are using hold there zero better than the smith or sadlak mounts. Last edited by HABANOMAN; 06-13-2010 at 1:09 PM.. |

I'm not using the SAGE mount, I'm using the LaRue LT-608. I'm still recovering from surgery on my shoulder and arm and I can't comment on it's ability to hold a zero yet. |

I have a Smith bolt stop I need to install and the extended magazine release is a MUST have. Im also enjoying the US Coast Guard Muzzle Brake (US Tactical supply $100); rufle jumps less and seems smoother.

No it Started Life as a SA Standard Receiver Mated to a Krieger Stainless Steel Heavy Contour Barrel, The muzzle has been crowned and a Smith Enterprise Muzzle brake has been installed. The Rifle is Equipped with a J. Allen Enterprises Generation 2 tactical stock and A Gruning M1A Optic Mounting System. So No It Wasn’t an M25. Nice looking M1A I purchased a LRB M25 receiver mainly for the integrated rail. Now your scope mount has inspired me to add one to my scout squad. Thanks again. |

Have you had any issues with the 25 rounders? What’s your overall opinion of them?
