Yet another 'shout out' for Ron and the Armory Outpost.
I dropped by today, shopping for an AR 15.

I told him he came highly recommended by 'CalGuns'.
He smiled broadly!

He's got the Sportsman Guide price for an SW Sportster II beaten by enough to make it worth my while to go back in there to purchase.
I like to keep purchases local; I'll head back there when I've figured out either an SW Sportster or a Tactical.
Pleasant, conversant, no GunShop 'chip' on his shoulder while conversing with this neophyte to the AR15 universe.
Q & A's back and forth for a good 15-20 minutes.
Great guy, nice shop, pleasant environment to conduct yer bizness!

BTW: Sportsman's Guide uses 'The Gun Range' in North Highlands as a designated FFL vendor. The Gun Range charges $25 for transfer fee; cheapest of all Sportsman Guide vendors in the Sac area.

I was in there today picking up a Ares SCR lower. Nice stuff in-stock. FNAR, Mossberg 930's, JM Pro's, Mini-14, Mini-30, AR's, Marlin Guide Gun in 45-70, Rossi .357 lever gun (lots of lever guns for some reason). G17, G19, G36, CZ PCR's, Mapp1 FS, 1911's... being the great guy Ron is, he sold me a Springfield 1911 Target in 9mm for a great price. Also noticed a S&W 8-shot .357, two Ruger 10-shot .22 LR revolvers including the Single Ten and the GP-100 (I want one). Lots of revolvers in the case.

Ron helped me get a great deal on an A2 clone this week via ppt that he could have got and flipped for quite a bit more. That is the kind of old school service Ron @ Armory Outpost provides.

I had my first purchase from Armory Outpost. Ron was great to deal with. I'll be recommending him and doing business with him again.

He's trying to get rid of his AR / AK inventory. Check it out if you are looking for a last minute rifle. It looked like there were five on the shelf including Aeros, Colts, and M&P's I think - probably more in the back. Great pricing from what I saw. Lowers were GONE.

Ron is a great guy. He is always willing to take time to find what you need. I was trying to sell a couple of pistols and he called up three different people that he thought might be interested. He had them sold in 24hrs.

Ron had some bulk ammo I wanted today at a fair price. Easy to deal with. Very busy today with the last day rush but ron took the time to take care of my needs. Good old fashioned service.

Ron has some OD green Glocks. At least one 17 and 34. Also there's a barely used G17 for $419.95. It is a dealer transfer, not PPT. I'd be all over it except I have a couple G22's and a couple G17's... three counting the 17L. Need a G26, want a G36

Hope someone from CG gets them. You still have 45 minutes.

Stopped by the shop today.

Ron does have the Glock OD 17 and a OD 34 and stated the 19's are on the way. I couldn't resist and picked up the only OD 26 he had. I'm gonna snag one of the inbound OD 19's as well. He said the cash/check price was going to be $524.95 on the OD 19.

I also noticed the M&P Shield 9's are now on sale M&P9 for $369.95 cash and $377.35 credit. The extended 8-rd OEM Shield 9 mags are also on sale for $19.99. Best price I have seen in the area so far for the Shield 9.

That's what I wanted. OD 26. Hope there's more out there. Nice pickup.

Nice! Congrats! Ron said he was going to start doing consignment soon. Did you notice if anything was out on display yet?

I don't know if he has something different planned but he's had consigned items in the past before numerous times. A sweet custom BHP, Glock 19, and an M1A Socom come to mind. Typically they have been in the racks or under the glass.

Ron was kind enough to facilitate sending back an off roster Sig back to Sig Sauer for repair (Sig's new policy as of 2017 that off rosters must be sent from and back to an FFL).

Of course Ron twisted my arm with a new M&P Shield 9mm with the $75 rebate. It didn't stop there as I spotted an OD G26 in 9mm too. Neither was on my radar but Ron convinced me I needed both :-) Shield DROS'd today, G26 in 30 days!

I'm not sure when he officially started, but his consignment is live right now. Ask me how I know He tempted me with a paratrooper SKS.

He said he has 17, 19, and 26 in OD for $499.95 cash/check price. $509.95 debit/credit. That's a "go" for me. I pickup a 26 this week. Mulling over another 19.

Picked up my Shield from jail at Armory Outpost today and noticed Ron still had some more Glock OD's. Ended up picking up an OD G19 to go with the OD G26 I bought last week. Ron mentioned that he'd be able to get a few more if anyone was interested.

Doesn't take a lot to get CA prisoners excited about different colored plastic huh? Hahahah. If there was a OD G36, I'd bite, but a black one is fine. Love the OD 26 so far. Installed a Zev V4 connector in my G19 and that 26... makes a much bigger difference in my sample of the 26 for some reason. The G19 feels marginally better than the minus connector I had in there. 26 feels perfect and the reset is as short as can be. Need sights on both now.

PSA...dropped into Ron's yesterday and he has 8-9 S&W's on consignment. Mostly semi autos but a few revolvers as well. The semi autos are the older all metal guns (not poly) which I prefer. Just a heads up for anyone looking for older S&W's.

Most likely the same deal as above - under $500 for cash or check, but check with Ron. Any used Glocks go fast and I have not seen any in there lately.

Like someone else mentioned, I think he still has old S&W 9mm and .40's from someone's collection in the case. I think they are single stacks - at least one "Chief's Special" IIRC.

He's got a Consignment Inventory Price List up on Facebook. Some interesting guns including a sweet Wingmaster pump and a bunch of S&W autos including a .DA/SA .45 (Model 457) with bobbed hammer. Also a XDS .45 3.3"

I've been visiting Ron lately, picked up a beautiful S&W 3913 on consignment from him, then bought an OD 26 (picking up this week). I called 10 days ago, and he texted me that he still had a couple in stock. So, if you still want an OD he has some left.

I was in there and checked out a gun I didn't even know was on roster till recently - a RIA 1911 DOUBLE STACK (A2). 10+1 in CA and 14+1 in free states using the P14 type mags IIRC.

I loved the way the gun fits my hand and the GI safety works better for me than the match ambis. Trigger, not bad. Kicker is the price - under $500. I might pick one up eventually. If you were looking for these, he has two in stock. Also had a SA Loaded MC Operator, and a FN 57 - marked prices seemed great.
