Default looking for a great pair of electronic earpro, and recommendations?

I currently have these

and I am having a very difficult time lining up irons.

I was looking at the Sordin Mich Shooters headset, if any one has exp with them or another low-pro tactical headset? Id like comms compatable, but not required. budget around $120.

thanks

if those dont work for you then your best bet is to get in ear type. Or pay the price for peltor, but i dont know if any of them are going to be able to get you any better cheek weld.

Agree with poster above.. If you're having cheek weld interference now I'm not sure another brand will help much.

I really like Peltor Tactical Sports.

You're not going to get much more low profile than those for earmuffs, get yourself some earplugs.

I bounce back and forth between my howard leights and surefire sonic defenders. I keep both in my bag, but i do lean more towards my surefire especially when doing a lot more rifle work, but the howards are great for when im shooting with friends in a group since i can hear them talking better with the howard muffs.

solution:

Buy both.

I've picked up Pro Ears for under $200 when Optics Planet has sales. They are much better than the Peltor Tac 6s I have.

Muffs are better than plugs because the bone around the ear can still conduct sound.

I think that getting a low profile muff to obtain the cheek weld and get good hearing protection will be nigh impossible. I have a pair of cheap Caldwell electronics that have a steep taper to them that produces less interference BUT they don't have enough noise reduction. I usually ended up combining them with plugs. I use Howard Leight that have great noise protection but the are large and will interfere with long gun shooting. You may be searching for a holy grail that may be very expensive to fix in a one item solution.
