Inlander Arms is now offering The Easy Bolt™ slide conversion. Pre-sale price: $149.99

Patent Pending

Are you building Polymer80 pistols? Use our slide conversion to help you stay legal by building them as a dimensionally compliant single shot bolt action. The Easy Bolt™ is CNC machined (made in California) from 6061 Aluminum. The Easy Bolt™ is compatible with the PF940 and PF940C.

We are selling match-grade Glock 19 extended barrels (made in USA) so you can meet overall length and barrel length requirements. These barrels are high quality (we contract with Dasan Machineries) and they can be cut/crowned for use in any Glock 19 or 26. Pre-sale price $129.99

Buy the Easy Bolt™ and Extended Barrel together and save $10. Pre-sale price $269.99

FAQ

Q: Do I really need to build my 80% handgun this way to be legal?

A: If you are a California resident and intend to build here, yes (AB 1964). If you plan on registering your gun, CA DOJ is asking for proof (pictures) of how it was built legally.
Starting July 2018, all 80% builds will have to go through the registration process with CA DOJ (AB857).

CA Penal Code prohibits building "unsafe" handguns like the Polymer80 PF940C except:
(b) Article 4 (commencing with Section 31900) and Article 5 (commencing with Section 32000) shall not apply to a single-shot pistol with a break top or bolt action and a barrel length of not less than six inches and that has an overall length of at least 10˝ inches when the handle, frame or receiver, and barrel are assembled.

Q: How is this better than a complete upper/slide replacement?

A: The Easy Bolt was designed to be as safe and cost effective as possible. You are converting a Glock slide without having to modify any of the critical (and proven) slide components that interact with the components on the frame. You are building in the intended caliber of the weapon, which might be an important legal distinction down the road. You can also test your completed pistol frame (fitting the rails and testing the trigger) without breaking the law.

Q: Can I use this to do SSE2 transfers of pistols such as the Lone Wolf Timberwolf Glock frames?

A: The way AB 1964 amended the single shot exemption to the Handgun Roster, you can no longer SSE handguns that were previously semi auto (such as a Gen 4 Glock 19). We developed this solution for 80% builds, but it might be possible to SSE a Timberwolf frame if it is truly a virgin frame. We do not explicitly advise anyone to attempt this without first consulting with an attorney and have the blessing from Lone Wolf or another FFL that is comfortable doing the transfer. View the discussion on this topic HERE

Q: When will this ship?

A: Pre-sale orders will be shipped in the order they were received, starting Spring 2017.

Q: How do I load it when it's single shot?

A: You will load a cartridge directly into the breech from the top. You must be careful not to damage your extractor when loading this way. Slamming the breech shut will likely damage your extractor. If you are worried about this happening, it is best to remove the extractor when you convert your slide. Leave the extractor in at your own risk.

Q: Why is the charging handle right-handed?

A: We considered making the charging handle left-handed, but decided on right handed for two reasons: legal & safety. We wanted to make this as safe as possible by having the operator take their hand away from the trigger when using the charging handle. Additionally having the charging handle on the right side is the most common placement for traditional bolt action mechanisms.

Q: I want to do a PF940 Spectre build (Glock 17), why don't you sell those barrels?

A: If you plan to build a Spectre frame, order the Easy Bolt by itself and get the correct extended barrel from Lone Wolf HERE
We anticipate most folks will be buying the PF940C (Glock 19). There is currently no other company offering extended Glock 19 barrels, so we opted to put our resources into getting a high quality run of those barrels made.

What's the difference between an extended G19 barrel and an extended G17 barrel? Can your barrel be used with a G17 slide for full size builds?

Also, any updated ETA/production status?

They are virtually identical except for the lug area. G17 barrels have larger and more spaced out lugs. They can't be used interchangably.

If you're doing a G17 build, Lone Wolf carries 9 inch G17 barrels.

Production is ready to go, but we need to know there is enough interest. We will keep everyone updated as the time comes. As soon as we hit the minimum threshold our manufacturers will get to work.

So if you build your Spectre with this kit to a bolt action pistol, can you then Covert it to Semi auto without breaking the law since it start life as a Bolt action? Just trying to See if the pistol must stay in this Configuration.

We are not aware of any prosecutions of people in California who convert their single shot handguns to semi auto.

Yes, as long as your 80% AR pistol is a Glock.

No, but if you search calguns you will find the way folks build ar pistols as single shot bolt action. It's easier to achieve compliance with ar pistols than handguns like glocks or 1911s.

We would also like to update everyone that we are ahead of production schedule and plan to hopefully ship at the end of the month, perhaps early april.

We are also looking into making the Easy Bolt compatible with other builds like sigs. We might offer a part that you can swap out with your kit that will make it compatible with the matrix precision sigs.
