Default duty holster for sig sauer sp2022?

I've been looking all over the place for a duty holster for the 2nd gen sig sauer sp2022 with the 1913 picatinny rail, and cant really find anything? Anyone have recommendations?

Blackhawk CQC Serpa, I bought it from this guy on ebay and it fits like a glove. He has the best price that I could find after shipping and all.

I love my SP2022, its accurate and fast shooting.

Armordillo Concealment makes kydex holsters for the SP2022 w/1913 rail. Not a Duty holster, but he has quality work.

Could try Sig's website for one. Also Alien gear holsters seem to be looking good to me right about now.

For duty use I would not look past Safariland. Their customer service is excellent and they'll be able to tell if the Gen 2 will work or not. I would be very surprised if they didn't make one that works.

I was bummed out to find I couldn't get the same Blade Tech weaponlight holster that I run my P220 with. It's a kick *** holster, and if its not a weaponlight holster, I wont get it.

To OP: What does your department require in terms of retention level?

More than half of the suggestions mentioned on this thread have nothing more than Level 1 or 2, which would be ridiculous during an apprehension of a suspect.

More than likely, you'll want to trust your life (and others) with a Level 3 holster. Don't mistake a simple concealed carry holster for a true duty holster.

Ideally i'd like to have a level 3 retention holster but its almost impossible to find one so im going for a level II.

If you read further up you would see that they do not fit newer sp2022's. I just bought one less than a month ago from optics planet and had to send it right back due to it not fitting

Interesting. I read in a review of the 6378 that it WILL fit the new production SP2022. The duty version of that holster is the 6360.

Level IIIs are ridiculous. Most officers I know with them end up leaving theirs unsnapped and leaning on the third device. What's the point... Level II has been no issue for me and I've made plenty of arrests.

Maybe I got an oddball, but I was pretty pissed when it didnt fit. I have used safariland on active duty, and wanted to get on for my sig. But it didnt fit.

that guy went on someones review vs you, who actually bought it and tested it? that doesnt even sound right! I asked the people at safariland and they said they are not sure if it will fit the 2nd gen sp2022's.

I have no idea why its so hard to find a holster for this gun, im sure they sold alot of these pistols.

I only run level II's when my go to brands don't make a level III. Lack of training is no reason to bash equipment.

I'm waiting for my light bearing 6280 to come in for my P30LS. If Safariland made a 6360, I would have ordered that instead.
