I'm gonna load a bit tonight with the new chargemaster. We'll se how it goes. That way if my performance suffers, I have something to blame it on.

Looks like i'm not the only one that ditched work today! You should start keeping emergency cash in the car. It's been so long I can't even remember how much I keep in there.

Why is everyone taking time off work to load ammo - I bet I have one of the lowest round count matches around - hell if your hit your target with the first shot you could probably get by with less than 20 - 25 rounds.

But since y'all are loading up maybe I'll stick in a couple of barrel burners just for good measure LOL

Y'all need to quit having these on 2nd, 3rd and 4th saturdays when I'm shooting my normal matches.

20 to 35 rounds of precision shooting sounds fun, but 250 rounds of 3gun is more appealing.
5 or 6 courses of fire.
Anything from touching the muzzle to 350yds.
handgun/shotgun/rifle on the move, sometimes all in the same course of fire.

What's not to like?

"I'm shooting my normal matches."

You should make this one of your "normal matches". Come find the challenge of smacking the steel at 865 yards with your first shot.

Between the last 2 matches, only 1 person conquered that challenge.. and that was luck!

Pete, Nate and I smacked the crap out of the buff last weekend from our little clearing. It can be done - just gotta get the dope. We'll see how all do this weekend.

By the way a little birdie might suggest y'all dust off your slings and/or rucks because at least one stage might be "old school".

Definitely a fun match. I would encourage anyone to participate as long as they have a rifle capable of doing the job

Timberwolf - Thanks again for accommodating and letting me zero my rifle after I assembled the thing only the night before!
