Default Bringing a judge to CA.....maybe

There is a possibility i will be moving to CA here in a couple months and i was wondering if i am able to bring a Taurus Judge in. I realize it is not on the ok pistol list but i was told that if you bring a gun into the state from out of state you are fine as long as you dont use hi-cap mags. I was also told that it is considered a short barrel shotgun.

Legal or illegal?

What if i promise to only shoot .45 colt?

Illegal because it meets the CA definition of a short barrel shotgun.

They did, the Taurus Judge rifle. But now it meets the street sweeper law because its a shotgun with a revolving cylinder! I saw it at the SHOT show.

The smoothbore .410-only Circuit Judge is definitely an AW, but the rifled bore .45LC/.410 arguably does not meet the definition of a shotgun, so it shouldn't fall under the shotgun with a revolving cylinder AW reg. But that just opinion and has not been confirmed by The Right People.
