Default Will retired LE be able to buy new high caps under AB1182?

Does AB 1192 allow California resident ret. LE to purchase new high caps in CA?

The bill seems to be pretty limited in scope.

Thanks

Allowing LEO to purchase 'high cap' mags is s cheap divide and conquer tactic used by the progressives to achieve gun control over the citizens of California. It should have never been tolerated in the first place. Rant off. OP not sure.

Retirees may not purchase or import, but may retain owned mags.

Do you have the correct bill?

Gotcha, that bill simply defines retired status and exempts from the prohibition of possessing of standard mags, but does not exempt from acquiring or importing. Same as before, you can keep what you have, but cannot acquire more.

Bear in mind that retired annuitants (assuming retention of LEO functions) and RO's are considered as "active" and may continue to acquire as well as are roster exempt.
