A thug shooting a thug. Question is, how did thug 1 get a CCW to begin with?

What makes the robbery victim a thug?

Bad move IMHO. Way to to turn a robbery into a shooting. Wonder if the victim's cousin who got shot would have rather the victim just handed over his wallet. What if you had been out with your wife and that went down -- would you consider your wife getting shot in the crossfire while you shot the bad guy and saved your wallet a "win"?

Nothing. The tiki torch quotient on CalGuns is off the charts.

There is absolutely no guarantee that you won't still get shot after you hand over your wallet. Armed robbers aren't necessarily trustworthy.

Yup, have seen plenty of liquor store, jewelry store, gas station, and Subway employees get shot for no reason after handing money over. Kinda hard to guess in a split second whether you're going to live or die. If he's got the drop on you, not much you can do....but if given an opening, I'd say you gotta take it.

There used to be a Union 76 station on the corner of Daggett and Ghost Town road. The young man that worked there was robbed and taken out back and shot to death. Evidence suggested he complied with the robber. CHP chased the SOB down and put him down hard. I believe they liked the employee.

Note to self: When traveling through an area where Baggss is known to frequent, pull up your pants to avoid being considered a thug.
