Default Scope Suggestions

I want to get a scope for my new OLL build. I have a stag 2h upper and want a scope just for plinking. I am guessing I would probably only need something good out to 400-600 yards. I want to try and stay under 200 bucks if possible. any suggestions?

A little more then your budget and probably longer then you need but it is a very nice scope. I own one and it is excellent on my Savage in 223.

How about this one Nikon 6310 Prostaff 3-9 x 40 Scope

specs:
* 100% waterproof/fogproof
* Nikon anti-reflective multicoating
* Precise, repeatable, 1/4 MOA click-reticle adjustments
* Nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed
* Matte finish

I am new to the whole optics thing so I am not sure what anything means. Also what kind of mount/ rings would i need to mount this. i am looking for a mount that wont take long to take off or put on.
