Update.

Portable facilities will arrive and will be ready for use effective Friday November the 3rd at 0700.

I'll be towing them and place them at the usual location just right next to the north plateau access ramp.

Update.

Our first NRA folks will be arriving at ground zero effective Thursday November the 2nd in the afternoon.

The range master and top brass fire line directors will be there to delineate boundaries and reserve necessary strategic spots for our NRA RSOs.

I do encourage all the early arrivals to assist and comply with directions as needed.

Thank you.

Just got back from a weekend of shooting there.Road is good for rv and trailers we had a 36 ft and a 32 with our group.

Same trouble spots the first a 1/4 mile in where right side of road is eroded but no change in last year and easily passible the other a 1/2 mile in where there was a dip its still there but there is a go around. besides that road was pretty firm but rough the first 1/2 mile

Dear fellow members.

I'm catching up with all your communications as fast as I can, please allow me a few days or so to properly reply to your inquires.

I was out off the country hunting in Africa for a few weeks and now my channels are extremely dense with traffic.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely.

just an idea at this point, but would anyone be interested in a little shooting match on Friday? figured Friday might be better since Saturdays are usually the busiest. nothing crazy or fancy. just maybe like a 1000 yard gong every shooter gets 3 shots or something like that? what do you guys think?

BLM Experts:
What are the rules on licensed / street legal vehicles doing off-road or off-highway 4-wheeling in BLM land? Does it need a dual off-highway tag, or does the on-highway license cover it?
Anybody have a link to a FAQ?

Either has to have a current registration street legal license plate or a current green red sticker

If an out of state ohv current registration is good if your state goes t do registration then you will need to buy a non resident tag for about 35 bucks.

I'll be there Thursday and am down to shoot at the 1000 yard targets. I think if it's Friday morning we could even get to 1200 if we get down by the first access road that goes to the valley.

I also have a dueling tree I would be happy to setup if people want.

I'll bring it and set it up Friday. I don't think it will work Saturday due to the steel distance requirements.

Can confirm - will not work on the main line on Sat unless you perfer shooting pistol @ 75+ yards...

Excited to square off on Friday, however. Low and ready or holster? I'll bring something for a door prize if we can get enough people.

Hello fellow members and friends.

I was finally able to go trough your communications, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for the late reply to your comments, PMs, phone calls, txt , etc..

The overseas connections are not as reliable as our domestic networks capabilities.

That being said, I would like to elaborate and reply to your inquires as follow:

Event location, GPS, directions and maps.

The final location and coordinates will be disclosed just a few days before our family event.

Plenty of time for you to plan ahead.

Think about the So Cal high desert, if you are able to get to Barstow before the line goes hot guess what,,,,,,,,

You are only 15-20 minutes away from ground zero.

Why?

This is part of the fun, anticipation and pretty much the concept of our secret shoot.

Is this a family event?, can I bring my family along?

Yes.

This event was created by our Calguns family and for our Calguns family.

Targets/Community targets.

Yes, there were will plenty of community targets ( hope you are asking me how to bring targets and not how to use targets).

New measurements will be enforced in order to preserve private property integrity.

Will I be able to shoot at more than 1K yards?

No.

Our last range finder reading denotes only 894 yds on Saturday from the long range shooting station.

Now,..... if you showed up on Friday..........

Will the line remain open during the entire event?

You are damn right it will be.

The line will be open 24/7 during the entire weekend, generous power plants and light towers will be strategically place trough out the fire line.

How big is the "line"

About 1/4 mile long (give or take a few hundred yards).

Can I bring my RV, Motor home, 5th wheel, Toy Hauler, etc?

Yes.

Plenty of community parking up for grabs.

Will there be Sanitary facilities at the premises?

Yes.

Will there be trash collection at the premises?

No.

we as a responsible law abiding individuals should be prepared to enjoy our land during the weekend and clean it after the fact,

To be honest, with all the available man power attending I don't see why not we should be able to preserve our land and keep the spot spotless once again.

More questions and answers:

Is this event free of charge?

Yes.

Our Family gathering is absolutely free to attend.

t's a great opportunity to gather along and enjoy our land while exercising our constitutional rights!

Why do I have to register?

Great question, the registration is the only mandatory aspect to attend; why?

The attendance numbers are extremely important in order to have a successful event. For example, at our last event a new concept was created; Yup, the Luau/ Hawaiian pre-main event Friday party, the new concept grabbed so much attention that we organizers were scrambling that night just to cope up with the flow demand.

This time and per your generous suggestions we will have the Same Hawaiian concept with some twist ( per your suggestions), A Baja night has being incorporated into the mix as well!.

The same happened during our Saturday's main event pot luck efforts, a tremendous effort was applied in order to keep the lunch line well fed and moving as it should!.

Will the "line" have adequate intervals to reset targets?

Yes.

The line will be observed by properly trained, tested and certified NRA RSOs.

Folks, dear folks listen carefully if you would.

Our Volunteered RSOs are traveling from all over the state in order to assist our family event,; Yes, they are people like you and me traveling vast distances putting away personal obligations and devoting their personal time to our cause.

Please listen to their commands and comply as needed.

I do encourage you to take a moment of your life and shake a friendly hand during your shooting experience if you would!.

Will the Master Chili Cock off contest be happening again during Saturday's pot luck?

You are damn right it will happened!

As the matter of fact I'm curing a batch of my domestic hunt feral pigs bellies and hopefully ready for the smoker in about a week or so.

Our OK & TX brothers can't prove me wrong.

Are fire pits OK and allowed?

Yes.

We will observe local jurisdiction ordinances and comply as requested.

Fife prevention measurements are a must to bring!.

Please obtain a fire permit for your camp ground!

How can I help?

Your participation is very important to us, please donate to the cause as you feel comfortable!.

BLM shoot, so I can do whatever I want!

Think about you statement twice if you would!.

Our staff includes active, reserve & retired LEO, Armed Forces and fully trained personnel .

Proper range rules and etiquette have been posted for years to this date. Think twice before you try to be cute and pull a stunt because before you know it a pat in your back will be produced.

Please don't be that one guy to be escorted out during our family reunion.

Be no mistaken, Zero tolerance will be absolutely enforced.

Can I reserve a spot at the line?

No.

The line spots will be acquired as a first come first served as usual.

How can I donate?

It's pretty simple; open your heart!

Sky is the limit!

Be no mistaken folks, you are the solemnly owners of this great family event, your contributions are highly appreciated!.

By personal and universal principle I can not and I will never accept monetary contributions directly to my name.

Your contributions shall be directed to:

Calguns Shooting Sport association.org.(snail mail).

Or via secure click to:

SuperSecretShoot@gmail.com

or.

Directly at the donation booths during the family event.

This event is a only possible due to your generous donations and participation.

Respectfully.

Lonewolf.

Well it's that time folks!

Time to call out what you're bringing to THE Saturday potluck.

Please quote and add below. I'm going to add some stuff to make it easy to sign up for. We always run short of hot dog buns, Condiments, plates and flatware. Feel free to just fill in one of the items below.

Bako88fan - Propane for big grill, 200 plates, 200 sets of flatware, 8 each ketchup, mustard and relish

We can always use:

- Hot dog buns

- Hamburger buns

- napkins

- plates

- ice

-Gatorade

-water

-sodas

-Coolers for drinks at the potluck

-EZ Up for the BBQ
