Does it "wash" DMV back fees if you instead do "letter to last reg owner"?
I'm pretty sure the DMV charges a bit for the "letter to last known owner" route to get a car registared.
If it DOES work, I'm assuming that is just the DMV's way of "capping" DMV back fees at a reasonable level. DOES it work that way??? I don't think I'd be committing any major perjury if I said I lost paperwork, and need to go with "letter to last known owner". |

There's not enough information provided.
Are you the current registered owner? Is this a title transfer that does have current registration? Do you not have the title?

I just did a transfer of title without pink slip.. a missing pink slip transfer of title.. you need to have the old registered owners DL and address and signature on the form... Was pretty easy to do at AAA
