I just went to 3 walmarts in San Diego and they are all out of the fed .22lr value packs. If anyone knows one that stocks it, please share . I'm not going to bring my family/friends to buy em all, i just want to buy 2 boxes so I can shoot my guns at the range!!!!

I've been buying ammo from them for years and this is the first time they asked me, but okay. Thanks.

Milpitas has CCI tons of .22 shorts, and about 12 boxes of CCI.22lr stingers, some .270, about 4 boxes of 7mm, 1 box of .25 auto, and 3 boxes of some overpriced .223(not valuepacks). It's been close to a month now and they haven't gotten squat.

Went to the Folsom Walmart today to price a Bushnell scope and found they had about 30 100rd boxes of CCI Mini-Mag .22lr. Came home with 6 boxes (one was hollow point, lol).

Wally World of Simi Valley at 7:30 this morning- bought their 100 rnds of .45 (Remy UMC) and their only two boxes of 100 rnds of 9mm (WWB) -- they had lots of .40 in both Remy UMC & WWB.... When is this ammo madness going to end?!

Has anyone checked the Wal Mart in Foothill Ranch lately? I haven't been able to make my way over there recently.

I wanted to say something really bad too, but it seems like this thread has a history of being locked for similar discussions. Freedom of speech is subject to strict scrutiny on this forum when it comes to exposing the gougers/resellers.

Let's just try to keep the thread on topic and hope our updates are updating the people that actually own and shoot guns.

Orange, Brea, and Anaheim stores have no handgun ammo this morning.

On a side note, I usually call the stores before I go check. The last three times I called the Orange store and asked for the sporting goods department, the operator lady who directs calls asked, "Are you looking for ammunition?" The first time I said yeah, and she said they didn't have any. The next two times she asked and said they had no ammo, I said I was looking for fishing rods. When she connected me to sporting goods, they told me they had .223 and a few others, but none of the calibers I was looking for. I thought it was a bit strange for the operator to automatically say they have NO ammo. I know some people reported employees in the sporting goods department saying they have nothing, but only to find out they were lying when they actually go to the store.

Next time she asks, I'm going to tell her I am looking for ammo. If she says they don't have any, I'm going to say, "So if I come into your store right now, you're telling me I won't even find one shotgun shell?"

I have had the operators give me the run around as well. I have also been told by the operator and floor person in the sporting goods department that they dont have any ammo when they actually do. They are just tired of answering the same question all day long. Sucks, but that is the way it is. Next time, ask for their name before you ask these questions. If you think they arent telling the truth, ask to speak with a manager.

i think they are also doing it to help save some for their friends who are then reselling it and they get a cut of the profits.
