Sling Mount Options?

For the purpose of continuity and simplicity I've used single point QD end plates for my slings. Now with pending registration I've converted 2 carbines to featureless.

I am using the Sparrow CRG grip. Given the high thumb position I have to go with a standard endplate leaving me to wonder how to best reconfigure my sling setup.

I am not married to any particular configuration. I just want something functional.

I should mention I am running a carbine length Magpul SL handguard (so there is no front swivel sling mount). Also I run a light at 3 o'clock at the front of an already short handguard...AND I AM LEFT HANDED.

I have seen setups with a QD mount near the receiver on the handguard...not sure how that would work.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If the TROY Industries digs into your hand this may work as if appears you can mount it farther back on the buffer tube

This might work. I'll have to check the dimensions. I like that it is ambi.

Edit: Appreciate the suggestions, but these will not work. It would have to be standard endplate thickness or it will bite the web of my hand.

Now I see how this config works. I think I just found my answer.

I run Magpul stuff and it works for me. I have all my rifles set up the same way. I run a 2-point MS3 sling with a Rail Sling Adapter (RSA) on the top of my rail about 4" from the front of the upper receiver and a QD mount on my Magpul fixed carbine stock on the opposite side (I shoot right handed but keep the QD mount on the right side of the butt stock, this allows me to easily switch hands while shooting on my weak side). The setup is very similar to the beginning of the video you posted other than my RSA is slightly more forward and my QD is on the opposite side of his.
