Waited over an hour to do PPT
My wife and I did a PPT with a fellow CG member at the West Covina location. We waited over an hour. It seems like the employees here didn't know what they were doing. The customer service was also horrible.

As the others mentioned, it can be hit or miss. I recently did a pick up from the Chino Hills location, taking a number, and there were only two other customers in the store, and it still took more than an hour after they got to me and started my pick up because the two people behind the gun counter kept helping new customers that would come into the store, who didn't take a number. I had to interrupt the associate several times after I completed my sections for him to come back and finish his sections. He was cordial enough, but it should've only took 10 minutes, and they could've provided better help to the new customers.

Same thing happened to me. Only around 30 minutes in and not seeing an end in sight to the wait, We left and went to Alamo up the street. No line and we were done in about 15 minutes.

no need to bring your own chair. I've seen people use chairs Turner's has on display while they waited.

Ill add to this post then I'm going to email the guy in the sticky above. "robz@turners.com"
I've walked out of turners several times and went somewhere else or bought online. When I'm there to pick up my purchase or buy a box of ammo why do I have to wait behind the guys who are flling out DROS paperwork or better yet the new guy asking 100 questions about which gun to buy. I have nothing against the new guy wanting to buy something and making an informed purchase, but if you have 3 new guys tying up the only 3 guys in the store that doesn't make sense. My 2 cents is dedicate 1 guy at least to ammo/accessories/firearms pick up only. Sometimes you guys call out for ammo but other times I have asked and they say "I'll get to you in a second". Which means stand and wait in my experience. If I wait longer than 20-30 minutes for a quick buy or pick up (not DROS) I'm gone. Last edited by pitbull30; 03-21-2013 at 5:41 PM.. |

I remember doing a PPT there and it took about 45 mins to get all of our paperwork done. Literally during the 10 days is when the pandemonium started and when I went to do the pick up it took about 2.5hrs of just sitting there waiting. Nuts I tell you

ppt is the least profitable transaction for turner's, so of course it has the lowest priority.
