Default Where to get windows 7 iso

I went to the Microsoft website and put my key in and they tried to give the Korean version. Did some research and tried some of the download clients but none of them work either. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The ISO must match the licensing channel that the key came from. Not just any Win 7 IS0 will work. So what channel did your key come from - OEM, Retail, Volume?

A student version may be difficult, but keep asking around, someone especially an old classmate might have a disk laying around.

If you feel daring, you could grab a Torrent.

You can do a full install from the upgrade disc. You just boot off the disc and start the install, and it should ask you to insert a full version disc to verify you "own" a full version which qualifies you for an upgrade, then you put the upgrade disc back in and finish the install. At least that's how it used to work, unless they changed it.

I used to have a link to different versions I had to use to build an off brand computer a while back. I know Dell makes the system restore to factory software available as an ISO, but can't speak about other brands. Let me see if I can find that link anywhere.

Just buy one on Ebay. Make sure you get an unused one with the key. Not hard to do.

try a torrent site. It's legal since you have the key.

I am not sure my login would still work, as my membership has been expired a long time.

This was before they limited to 5 keys per, back then it was 10 keys per, before people started selling keys on eBay for profit, which is why things went down hill and I (and others) stopped subscribing to Plus.

Just curious why you do not just upgrade to 10? But, there is always the black beard rout.

Now they are handing out "multi-activation" keys along with 5 standard keys.

It's for my dad and he likes the media center better than all the other music playing options. Plus this is an older core 2 duo processor windows 10 will be slower.

If you're not averse to Windows 10, try downloading the Win10 ISO and using your windows 7 key to activate it. I managed to upgrade 2 computers this way with just one key. If a win7 key doesn't work try a win8 key if you have one.

Edit, just saw your conundrum with Win10... there is a way to water down Win10 to be useable on slower machines. You just have to disable most of the graphical stuff as well as non-essential windows background services.
