Default Areas to shoot that are close OC

Known that typically everyone keep its a secert but are there some areas like BLM or desert area that are good to shoot clay pigeons that are semi close to OC.

Yup, but its a drive from OC. You're pretty much heading past Banning or Barstow. Grab yourself a BLM map. Keep in mind, county rules also apply and further restrict firearm use.

Remember to be responsible on public lands. You should only be shooting free standing, retrievable targets and need to pack out all targets, trash, spent casings and debris. This means no shooting pigeons in the air. In the desert region, we don't get enough rain for "biodegradable" clays to break down and BLM policy prohibits traditional clay use.

You can however shoot clays held in a target stand. Just put a tarp down and pack out the fragments.
