Default List of Featureless Dealers

I am thinking of getting a .308 DMR/battle rifle. I've noticed that most stores do not want to deal with Kalifornia when shipping a semi-auto rifle with a pistol grip. Atlantic Firearms will throw on Kydex grip wraps and pin the stock (if needed) to make a "featureless" rifle but they tend to be a bit more expensive. The only other one I came up with is Prepper Gun Shop, but I wonder if there are more.
I tried searching here on Calguns for a list of dealers that will do the same, but all I could find was ammo dealers that will ship to Kali. Are there any other companies that will assemble and ship a featureless rifle?

(I tried putting in the commercial thread but I am not a retailer/seller)

Elite Arms in Manteca has a sister store in Texas and can get you anything you want for a price. They advertise their CA compliant conversion on Facebook.

Did you go into your local shops and see what they have for sale? Every shop in the Modesto area has featureless sitting on the shelves. If I were you I would just buy a lower and build it exactly how you want.

I can middleman or sell direct. I have access to almost anything you can imagine and my prices are low due to very low overhead. I am setting up a new shop now and will be in full operation NOV 1st but I can order items now. I just have a backlog of current orders to take care of first.

That sounds great. It will be about the Nov/Dec time frame for me also. I still haven't decided yet and I haven't ruled out a M1A but I really would like something below $1000 if it can be found.

Either the pistol grip removed or not able to put your thumb around it, no flash suppressor and a fixed stock. Most DMRs just need a Kydex grip put on the pistol grip to make them featureless since they already have muzzlebreaks and fixed rear stocks. I am mainly looking at C308/PTR91, FAL, or AK pattern 7.62x51/54r. Like I said before I have not ruled out M1As and AR-10s. I really don't think I will have the money for a SCAR.

My PTR (bought late 2013)has been great-although I don't have that many rounds through it.

I would caution you to research into the C308 more before purchasing.
I thought about picking one up as they are a little cheaper than the PTR.

After looking at more reviews and Youtube videos dealing with their numerous issues -I would avoid.

Pony up the extra bucks for the PTR if you decide to go the G3 Clone route.

I have only 3 tiny gun stores within 60 miles of me. In all three I was horrified by the prices when I returned from AZ. Pretty much double what other states have. So I had assumed that going mail order would be the cheapest route. I have one of those stores that told me $25 transfer fee, the other 2 store quoted $120.

No, I kind of figured that. I had seen his Avatar down in the dealer section so I kind of knew he knew what featureless meant. Apparently I replied accurately.

We will also be glad to remove the pistol grip and send it to the dealer if you discuss this with our office via email in advance . This will allow you to configure how you wish.
