Default FFl to ffl guestion

Can a CA ffl dealer refuse to do a transfer from and out of state ffl like from a gun auction.

Yes. A FFL is a business and with the exception of PPTs, they can refuse to do transfers or they can charge what they want, such as $10k.

Alright thanks lgs can't find the rifle my uncle wants and will not do a transfer from Guns America.Who would thing a hunting rifle Browning bar would be so hard to find.

Find another FFL. You might have to drive a bit, but there should be some reasonable FFLs in your area.
