Default Rick's Pawn Shop

Just a small update.

1.Paul doesn't work there anymore. Rumor is he is opening his own place.

2. If anyone plans on doing a PPT there stop at walmart to pick up a lock. (Save receipt to return it). They don't care if the gun comes with one lock they will make you buy another one.

3. There Blue Label Glocks are $15.00 more then GSSF Pricing.

4. 22LR ammo in stock

I've never had a problem at Rick's. Anyone here buy the $395 HK USP 45? Grip had a lot of wear though like someone like security guard or cop carried it open a lot.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences at Ricks. Every gun store in the A.V has huge markups. Some more then others. (TURNERS!!), (DICKS!,) and other shops ( not going to name) have very cocky workers and will not admit they are wrong about anything. One shop I went to looking for a basic milspec ext. carbine buffer tube only had commercial tubes and EVERYBODY in that shop including “ the gunsmith “ kept telling me they were exactly the same. Finally ( in a humble way) pulled it up on my phone to prove to them the difference in size and Everyone got silent and went in a different directions.. Now I know when dealing with everything from antique fire arms all the way to state of the art hk416 systems and everything in between it’s almost impossible but admit it( Jack of all trades, Master of none) catter to you’re customers and what’s popular at the time. Rite Now Everyone in our free country seems to be building fire arms with AR platforms. I feel I know that system well starting with being a machine gunners in the U.S.M.C 17 Year’s ago and building when building wasn’t cool. ANYWAYS!! Ricks pawn shop really does have the lowest prices out here. I’ve bought (I think) about 5 handguns there all at the manufactures retail price. One being a brand new, untouched, from factory, Sigp226 MK25 ( bull**** Cal. Version) for under 1,000$ out the door. The inventory isn’t the greatest but the prices are and the few guys they have running the firearms department are very knowledgeable and if they don’t know something, they’ll tell you. As long as I’m in the A.V “Ricks pawnshop” has my business..

Paul at the Vault is a cool cat that knows enough about firearms to run a shop and the inventory isn’t bad but when comparing prices as far as glocks, berettas, kimber, and especially sig’s, Ricks Pawnshop has every shop in the A.V beet. ( Paul used to run the firearms department at Ricks) Best prices “Ricks”.. best inventory “ turners” however no one at turners knows what the f*#% is going on, how or what the point system is about and there’s items I’ve been interested in buying but no one in the whole store could find out what some of the prices are. I’ve spent roughly 1,000$ on overpriced items that I needed that day( no firearms) and was told a day ago I have 0 points. WTF!!!
