Probably a dumb question but is the replacement bolt catch 100% functional as a bolt catch?

The magazine lock replaces your bolt catch to ensure your rifle is a fixed magazine. Your bolt goes home on an empty magazine, otherwise, you'd have to release the bolt before you could pull the rear takedown pin to open the rifle and release the magazine. We eliminated the step of having to release the bolt before pulling the rear takedown pin.

need to reinvent the front pivot pin now so it is easier to operate with one hand. maybe somehow put a stop so it only pivots up a quarter of an inch or less
