Default TruGlo products?

Hi gang, I'm in the market for a good/reliable beginner red dot for my 10/22 takedown. I saw these from TruGlo:

They seem to be low-profile and good on the budget; however when I saw these are Turner's, their packaging looks real cheap which made me wonder if I'm better off buying a more expensive red dot.

For my hunting purposes, I can't seem to find a 2x or even 3x magnification red dot. Not sure if the truglo red dots above are magnified, but I figure I'd check with the gang before making any of the purchases.

Red dots are not typically magnified. Either get a red dot and a 3x magnifier or get a 3x, 4x 5x prism scope with an illuminated reticle.

In the $180-$200 range, you would be better served with Vortex, Sig Romeo, or Holosun.

For a budget option, Bushnell TRS-25 or Primary Arms microdot both have better reputations.
