Default Ruger PCC's for $499 at PSA.

Ruger PCC's for $499 at Palmetto State Armory

But they're the standard cap model 19100. Not the 10 round Kali model 19102.

hmmm so does this mean ruger's supply is finally caught up to the demand and now they are sitting around the distributors?

I would say no as everytime I get emailed about a CA version in stock it's gone within seconds and none of the stores up here seem to ever have it

I would say your best bet is Turner's. I'd pop in and have them check their warehouse, if they don't have it, put your name down for one.

They have a really good relationship with Ruger, they always seem to get everything in good amounts, I remember being one of the firsts to get a 10/22 Takedown Tactical model, before people in other states could too.

Good luck, this is going to be a hot seller...can't wait to see one at the range.

Yeah, I'm a good 3hr+ drive each way as i'm an hour north of san fran. I appreciate the idea! It looks like sportsman warehouse can now order the CA version to be delivered in store so I may just go that route. Not bad at $529 as I wouldn't have to pay for a transfer ($75 for my local guy)

I would rather stare at Hildebeast naked then set foot in Turner’s with their employees attitudes and their inflated prices. I got one of the first Carbine’s sold in Mexifornia back in January from a small dealer. Of course I have spent a ton with him so that helped.

Interesting that you mention .357 SIG. I've been debating whether to get a conversion kit for my 9mm ASR. Ammo is expensive and harder to find, but when my budget allows I am really tempted to give it a try.

For those in free states, 33 round Glock mag would be a fun option

well if the 9mm doesn't sell well, they won't make one in 10mm and SS.

They seem to be selling pretty good. I'd think and hope that they would make a 45acp before the 10mm..

They're listed $569 on their website, and I got my local Turner's to price match another shop at $540. Best deal I've seen so far is Grabagun at $475, $8 shipping, and then do a transfer at Aces Pawn for $25/$25 + tax. $571 OTD.

Correction.. $569, not $579.

$627 OTD for me @ Bain & Davis. I try to support the local Mom & Pop shops.

not sure how you are getting $571 OTD...

($475.99 + 8 + 25 + 25) + tax = $582.05

That has been the way i've known, unless i have been wrong, or done the math wrong, or been ripped off.

You're right, math is wrong but DROS and shipping are not taxed.
($475.00 + $25 FFL Fee)8% Tax + $8 shipping + $25 DROS = $573.00

Me too, but I couldn't find any TB models locally. My usual LGS actually told me to get one at Turners if I wanted one this year, haha. If anyone wants a non-threaded barrel, the Pawn Shop on Lakeshore Dr in Lake Elsinore has one, $580.

I drosed one at the Rancho Cucamonga store on the 7th. The price then was 569.99. Its the threaded barrel model.

I had just started to do the dros on a Shield. I had already put the sheild on layaway (30 days) We started the paperwork, one of the counter guys walked by with the PCC in hand, he was talking about how hot of an item they are.

I'm couriuos to see what the price on these will be in 5 years.

If it sells like 1/5 of the 10/22 they’ll be dirt cheap. If they’re discontinued I can see it going for $1200 lol. If gun laws get tighter, they’ll be like glocks, consistently the same price but more common

Deals at smaller FFL's are still to be found. I got my PCC for $509 from West Coast Survival Arms. $575.99 OTD because Chula Vista sales tax is 8.25%.

What anti CA policies? Aside from not shipping anything here that needs modification to be compliant, they are more supportive than many. They even reviewed their policy on barreled AKM kits after several of us let them know they were legal to send here.

Primary Arms, SG ammo, Numerich, Apex, and many other companies that have policies exceeding our laws, and then make up bull**** lies as their reasoning.

They still will not ship receivers to CA when it is completely legal to do so. Stripped or assembled doesn't matter, so long as it is not attached to a receiver. Try it and you will see.

This is why we cannot get PSA AR9, AR10, or other reasonably priced PSA products. PSA's parts tend to be proprietary and work best with their components. How can we take advantage of their work if they won't support us? They also do not care about peace officer exemptions and to my knowledge they will also not ship ammo to FFL03 holders.

If you want to support a solid FFL, Support Audiophil2/Alphacat and the other FFL's that are outside, but continue to support CA firearms owners. RBetts/Golden State Tactical left CA recently as well, but I am not sure if he will continue his business. If he does, I'm sure that he will support us.

This dude is wrong about PSA
Psa will ship stripped lowers to CA and ammo to 03ffls

You can read it right off their website on California compliance.

Stop the spread of FUD!

Oh? Tell me what it says regarding shipment of lowers?

Where does it state FFL03? As far as I recall, PSA will ship ammo to traditional FFL01's, but nothing specific on FFL03 nor peace officer exemption. Where did you get your facts?

I have directly asked PSA re: their AR9 lowers (stripped or assembled) and they will not ship it to my FFL. I know that their policy does not omit stripped receivers to CA, but they told me "no". You tell me.

http://palmettostatearmory.com/custo...rvice#Cali2017

California Notice

Due to recent changes in California state law, Palmetto State Armory will no longer be able to ship so called “assault weapons” to the state of California. This would include all Palmetto State Armory AR-15 Complete lowers, AR-15 Complete Rifles, and all Palmetto State Armory AK-47 rifles. This would also include other makes and models of these same firearm platforms manufactured by other companies. Example: Colt AR-15 rifle.

As of the 18th of December all ammunition orders must be shipped to a California DOJ approved FFL. If any further guidance is provided by the state of California, then the current policy will be adjusted to reflect the change. If no further guidance is published before January 1, 2018, the policy will be that any ammunition purchase for California will only be shipped to an FFL dealer.

No ammunition sales to the cities of Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco, or Avalon.

Stripped lowers

The only thing Palmetto State Armory will not ship to California is complete guns or complete lowers. Again if you read they will ship the ammo to your house if you have an 03 FFL and a COE As long as you don’t live in a city that will not allow Ammo shipments

The coe part

And for the people that don’t read too well you are the FFL that’s how I get shipped to you so you must possess an 03 FFL as well as the COE

That appears to only be listed on the PSA-15 stripped lower. It's not present in the examples of the stripped AR-9 and AR-10 receivers that I just looked at. Looks like they've updated their policies, so good on them for trying.

I found their ammo section (none of these seem to be listed in their main FAQ) and you are correct that they've updated their policies for ammo shipments, so I will retract. However, they do need to update the verbiage to include FFL03 + COE. Seems like it's specific to an ammo vendor's license + COE. I will contact them to validate that. An FFL03 + COE is not the same as an ammo vendor's license.

http://palmettostatearmory.com/calif...o-buying-guide

Even more silly (not as asinine as CA's laws) is the separation of peace officer classes and requirement for duty use letter.

Exceptions:
*L.E.Os must provide both their credentials and a letterhead signed by their department's superior officer stating that the magazine/weapon will either be used in the execution of the L.E.O's duties, or off duty. PSA only recognizes City Police Officers, County Sheriff Deputies, and State Police (including Highway Patrol) as L.E.O’s.

I don't expect them to know everything in CA's mess, but I applaud PSA for trying to make things right.

I will contact them re: roster exemptions. If they are good in that department then I can start recommending them to people again. I can't always order a firearm or item for someone, but I can refer them to other vendors who support CA.

PSA was off my list for a long time. I have not looked at them ever since they refused my AR9 purchase X months ago.
