The Sauer is the one I'm most excited about. Found a perfect illuminated Leupold VX-3L for it on eBay.

Turners will let you put a deposit down on the Mak and let you pay it off over the 30 day wait. That way it is saved for you and you don't have to pay all at once as you wait out the 30 days. I've done this a couple of times. They even have a term for it, the "Turners handgun club" or something like that.

yeah ..that is what I did..just gave the minimum down and will have to return on my 30th (31st) day to actually DROS it dang thing..oh well that will give me a chance to find some 9x18 mm ammo for it..
...still hate this state and its Overlord type attitude..

UPDATE: Went in Sunday to finally take delivery of new Rock.. Very nice young staffer (who was helpful the last time I tried to pick up) recognized me and made it a point to go in back and get my gun, asked Tom the Manager for a treat for the long suffering guy at the counter and got a box of 9x18 makorov (and an apology) for the gun I can DROS NEXT week!! Very happy and satisfied with Turners in Victorville Kudos to Alexis and Tom!!! y'all ROCK!!!

My ria 1911 38 super that wants to be a 9mm. I have been aquiring attachments ( lately grips Pachmyre rubber over rosewood via Amazon and to bypass the iron sights, Streamline light and laser for 1911's non rail). All for under $600 plus fees. It's done - in my mind.

Just purchased a Browning 1911-22 A1 for my wife. After months of looking off and on and holding many models, she made her decision on her first firearm. She is actually excited about it, which is very unusual because she was not excited at all about me buying a firearm. She is finding out some of her friends are somewhat involved in the sport so she is more accepting of it.

Commander length barrel, Officer sized grip, economical caliber, silky smooth trigger, reversible mag release (I'm southpaw), decocker-only option, fits all 92 series mags, legendary reliability, and sexy to boot. So impressive, this is one of three.

Default What do you have in jail?

Ok, today is my birthday... So, the wife is gifting me with a firearm of my choice! Woot...!

What did I get?

An H&K USP Expert in 45ACP...

After I got to play around with the standard USP at the LAX range - so easy to make A-zone hits at 25-yards, I just got to have it!

Thank you...!!! Yes, it is really nice for the Wifey to do this; and she doesn't even shoot (haven't even fired a gun before).

But then, in hindsight, I pay the mortgage, the automobile loans, the insurance, and the food... Hahaha...

Impulse buy.
Went to the LGS to check out the Smith and Wesson model 41, they did not have that, I saw the Browning Buckmark Lite 7" barrel in the counter, I asked the salesman to checked out the Lite, kind of amazing that with 7" barrel but it seems LIGHTER than my Buckmark Contour with TRS25 Bushnell Red dot. So I pull out the credit card and ..... did the DROS, now I have to wait for 10 days.
(This is my second Buckmark, and this one 7" barrel)
