Default CCW in San Diego

Hello, all. I have my CA CCW. I'm planning on going down to San Diego on the train with my boy soon. We would like to visit the Maritime Museum, the Midway Museum, and/or Sea World. Since I'm going on the train, I won't be able to leave my ccw anywhere, so it's either I take it or I don't. Anyone have experience in those spots? I've been to all before, so I know how tight some spots are, just not with my ccw, so I didn't pay attention to rules/detectors. Thanks!

Sea World: No weapons and all bags are subject to inspection. There are metal detectors at park entrance...at least according to their website. I haven't been there in quite awhile so I can't say for sure that they actually check all bags or that the metal detectors are operating all the time. Perhaps someone who has been there recently will respond.

Midway: No weapons and all bags are subject to search

I don't know about the maritime museum.

If you mean Amtrak for the train - that is a NO GO, unless both terminals have checked bag service. There are rules that have to be followed as well.

4.8.19 at Seaworld, not crowded. 4 Walkthrough metal detectors in place. CEIA, I think. 1st, very through bag search; he checked every single pocket of my Vertex Sling Bag. 2nd, they had me carry keys and phone in hands as I walked through the detector, but I hid a folder in my hands. 3rd, the person, on the other side, with the wand did not sweep me, she just said I was GTG and let me into the park.
-----------------
Correction, there are 8 CEIA metal walkthrough detectors, see second photo, looking towards the exit. They'll be able to handle greater volume once summer crowds arrive.

Last I was in the area there is a locker you can rent at the greyhound station in downtown, not far from the train station and the maritime museum. I had to store a pocket knife I accidentally carried for jury duty one time...

I'd recommend the zoo and the aerospace museum over Sea World, both you're good to go. Aerospace has a space exploration exhibition right now.

FWIW, no signage or metal detectors, inspections or anything at San Diego Zoo. Was there on 4-7.

The LA-SD Coastliner is an intrastate service which, to my lay reading, exempts it from federal laws regarding checked firearms. No wands or bag checks, didn't notice (or look for) signs.
