Arrow Ruger MKIII 22/45 Aftermarket Grips for Molded-in Grips

I don't want to sand/grind it down. There used to be a guy who made custom ones that just went over the existing molded-in grips but he is M.I.A. now, I believe. Any leads?

I remember seeing something like that recently, but can't find the site.

I sent mine to Kingshouse from RFC to have the grip mod done with some VZ grips. If you change your mind and choose to have it milled, he is the man to talk to. He does phenomenal work.

Who provided the VZ grips and how much did he charge? Any pics?

I provided the grips. I will post some pics tonight or tomorrow for you. He charges $38 for the grip mod.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRkiSlXdrKM

This was the video instructing how to install the grips

Email this guy for the grips: Dominic.Notaro@csinet.net

I installed these grips on my 22/45 and have been very happy with the way they feel.

Too bad. I know someone who has a pair and they felt pretty good.
He should sell his patent if he has one to someone like Tandemkross who can keep up with the market

for Kingshouse. He did the grip mod, worked the trigger, and a few other things on one of mine and it is an awesome shooter. With Dominic seemingly out of the picture your only option is to grind/mill down the frame and install 1911 style grips. The great part is the plethora of grip options available.

Here's my 22/45 with the Kingshouse grip mod with stainless hardware. He also did a trigger job with an overtravel screw, magazine latch extension, slingshot mod with spring, hammer bushing mod and bolt jeweling. I could not be happier with the results.

How old is that ad?

the 4.5" slabside is off on 4/25.

The 5.5" model 10158 has the removable panels and is good til June.

I'd be ALL over either of 'em @ $200.

Haha! Gotcha! I did get mine at that price but it was a few years ago when Turners had a big sale

I got my first 22/45 during that sale. I WANTED the 4.5" slabside but they were sold out.

So I've bought these 2 guys this year because of the roster BS.

I believe I'm gonna have the grip mod done to the 4.5". The pistol balances beautifully and those gray VZ grips look pretty nice.

The pictures don't do justice. I highly recommend them.

I sent an email to Kingshouse from RFC to see what his current turn around time is. Waiting to hear back.

My wait time was 2 months. I sent it off around 02/18 and got it back 04/19. We're on vacation this week, so I was glad he was able to finish so we could take it with us. If you're just doing the grips, it may be quicker. IMO, it was well worth the wait. HTH

I believe I was given two weeks, too. But my finish time kept getting extended. Not sure why, but I don't mind. Everyone who's handled it says it feels and shoots like a dream.
