Default Is my Texas CCW still valid after move to CA?

My work took me to Texas and I split my time between my home in Orange County and Texas while becoming a Texas resident. I received a CCW permit that expire in 2021.
Is this CCW still valid for Texas and the recripical states?

thanks!

If you are no longer a TX resident maybe not, but you might want to check with the state of TX. If you are still a TX resident and meet the requirements to carry a resident CCW, they yes.

You license is not valid in CA.

Are you still a TX resident?
Or CA?

You are required to update your address, I think within 30 days of moving. https://txapps.texas.gov/txapp/txdps/ltc/

I believe your permit will then become a non resident permit.
https://www.dps.texas.gov/RSD/LTC/faqs/index.htm

Quote:
Per Texas Government Code 411.173, legal residents of another state or persons who relocate to Texas with the intent to establish residency may obtain an LTC. Those individuals must submit an application, pay the required fees, successfully complete the required training in Texas and submit all supporting documents. They also must submit form LTC-6, two passport style photos and a copy of their out of state driver license or state issued identification card. Note, however, that all LTC applicants must be legal residents of Texas or another state.
At that point some states may not recognize it (specifically CO, FL, SC, MI). Use the map here to see who recognizes TX non resident:

If you are now a California resident then the validity of your Texas CCW really does not matter as Texas will honor many other state's CCWs. This includes California should you choose to get a California CCW, which should not be difficult if you are an OC resident. Texas will also honor Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Florida, non-resident CCWs so you could get one of those as well and still legally carry in Texas.

Texas will reissue my CHL as an out of state issue. I paid them a fee and they reissued my Texas CHL with my Calif address. So as least I have CHL for those reciprical states
