I was thinking it was a sail fish too but didn't want to say anything because it looks a lot like a black marlin with those white specs near the tail.

*I live inland too* haha

What caliber is that AR? I never really considered AR's for hog hunting.

Looks like .223 to me, but most people on here frown upon using a .223 for hunting bigger game.

It is probably a .308 setup but as many of us hunters know a .223 will work on the smaller hogs.

There are blacktails here just none of that size. They are pretty stout but their antlers here are usually forkies.

I fish for em every fall/winter up in the delta. Year before last I saw a guy I was fishing with pull a 33lb. 9oz hog outta there. It was like 44 inches long - a monster! I got skunked that day but just seeing that fish made my trip for me.

True but look how small the magazine is.. The ones I got for my .308 build are almost twice the size of that.

Still haven't killed a pig and not huge into fishing but I dabble a little bit, mostly trout and stripers in the surf. Here is my biggest trout to date.

My tom for the year.

My biggest deer yet but I was only 13 one I killed it so I look like a little baby hahahahaha. 3X2 Black-tail.

I love and live to duck hunt I have a ton of pictures but I'll post up my favorite of this last season and my favorite day hunt. All I hunt is public so it makes me a little more proud of my success.

Sometimes when the fishing's rough and it's Sunday and a million boats are on the water you keep the barely legal ones.
