hey vic, you got any of the tall shirts left from fall of 2017?

...I'll say I'm better than even I could make 27-29. It would be a social trip, not a shoot trip for me as well, as I'd probably rent a high fuel mileage car and haul butt down there for a 36 hour shindig, then haul butt back home. But those dates look good on my calendar so far.

I am still waiting to hear if I drew my Lanai'i axis deer tag, which I find out on Jan 22, but besides that, $ is all that could interfere.

I don't recall why some have favored the full moon over the years. Personally, I'd rather have no or very little moon so the stars can be seen. I brought some of my grandsons this last time and one brought his telescope hoping to see something. There was really nothing to see tho. I know they would really enjoy being able to see a large amount of stars and perhaps even the Milky Way. I would also.

Someplace with a slightly different environment than the Barstow desert.

Some hills, greenery and seclusion and at least 300 yards for shooting line.
Plenty of camping areas.

I might have a spot, but want to discuss it first with my two partners
of a new 60 acre gold claim near Yosemite. I'll need to get their blessing first.
I'll be going up to look at the back 40 in a few weeks.
We can camp 20 for sure in the entry bowl, but not enough flat space for rifle and too close to the road in this area for what are rifle needs are.
Also lots of rocks in the old gravel pit.
Only known CL members in good standing will be invited once greenlighted as a precautionary measure for NorthSquatch1.

NorthSquatch 1, I like it

Artist might like something different from Zombies.

These are more of a social function for me, shooting is secondary.

Good standing as known to other CL members from one, but not all of the following:
SSZS, outings, snake stomps, pig roasts, range trips, Whisky\Scotch \Cigar
round ups, get togethers, and other CGCL clandestine operations.
Hooker and blow or a trail of dead hookers from Vegas to LA is partial credit.

Glad to see this community effort up and running.

Folks, please ellaborate as needed and shoot me a date if you would.

As you already know my hunting agenda is rather heavy this year; Lords willing I'll be starting in New Zealand shortly.

Let's keep the ball rolling.

Full moon made it easier for some night shooting a while back. While not good for stars, it did help to see some steel waaaaaay out there in the fields if they were angled right

Not that it's a requirement. Most of the night shooting, with the exception of that one year, are mag dumps and balls of fire.
