BLM Shooting this weekend?
I know its hunting season, but i was wondering if there's any good spots this saturday to go in Pollock Pines? I have visitors looking to plink. And I usually go to emmigrant trail spots of Bonnetti.
Any "safer" spots where hunters wont frequent this weekend? I hear of a "quarry" near Icehouse road. Any info is helpful. And yes, i plan to keep it clean, pick up brass and casings, and leave no evidence except footprints that we were there. thanks in advance.

The Quarry is just past Foresthill if your coming from 80. Left on Finning Mill road just past town. It can be a **** show out there sometimes and you need to get there early to guarantee a spot.

i was talking about the quarry in pollock pines that a ranger was mentioning. is that the same one in foresthill? cause the ranger mentioned it was off of icehouse road.

No quarry that I ever heard of in Pollock Pines. Google Map search "Foresthill Rock Quarry"

Why would Bonetti not work for you? Are there really hunters roaming around up there?
