So, LW's bare frame is a go? "Bare" not "assembled" frames.

If you want a LW frame we can do it but you'll be patient A. I'll need to ruin a Glock slide to retrofit it to a bolt action which I'll do but you'll be paying for it

If you want to start a crowd-fund project for that upper I'd be interested.

Wouldn't be hard, we have the design. Issue is the cost of making it. If we have enough interest we can move forward but everyone needs to know we cannot build SSE Glocks. Glocks will not sell just frames and the frames you see online are Glocks sold as parts. So I don't want people all excited that they can SSE Glock frames

But you can SSE those Lone Wolf completed frames which was never a semiauto and we can get our own slide + barrel.

Haha, no thanks, I will not be patient A - since I am happy with my current Glock's. I would if they made a equivalent 43 or a full size single stack.

I know this is a 1911 thread, but just wanted to toss ideas (not a vendor, so I rather not start a new thread in this sub-forum).

Someone should ask LW. They were SSE friendly to us last year, and may just donate a slide if it moves their frames. Plus it might move some of their replacement slides, win win on both camps. I have no interest, but just tossing in a idea.

With the wide variety of frames and options we don't keep much if any on hand. It is best to speak with us or contact Chuck at Shooters Connection.

what if damage is caused to frame or other parts due to gunsmith? or FFL holder?

just curious how that would work

Not certified in anything and you'll be signing a waiver before the process starts.

It's a bare frame, no different than a complete disassembly and reassembly of any 1911. I would have to hit it with a hammer a couple times or use it as a Frisbee to cause any damage to the frame.

I imagine the parts are loosely fitted drop ins. It's not like parts are going to be fitted or filed.

Yes, a many times with both single stack and wide body STI frames. 2A is the best FFL ever.

Is there an extra charge for this service or will I only pay DROS plus whatever the frame costs? Assuming I decide to return the parts you install.

Mike!

These folks are the best to deal with. I had a frame SSEd and everything went so smoothly, I finally have the frame I have always wanted.

I definitely recommend them for your next purchase/transfer/SSE, and I had to travel from SF to LA to be able to have my SSE.
