Default 14.5 Pinned Flash Hiders and Blast Forwarding Devices

Hi All,

I have a 14.5 pinned/welded Surefire Warcomp on my rifle. Surefire makes an attachment called the Warden blast forwarding device.

Can I attach this as a means to make my muzzle device featureless?

Thanks!

I dont think it can be done for featureless. Because it can be unattached on the go. Kind of how the 14.5 barrels have to have pinned brakes or flashhiders, and not just screwed on.

I dont think that would pass either. You will probably need to reweld another device.

Beyond the reasons above, since it reduces flash I think itís a no go.

Thanks for the input guys.

winxp_man My thought process was since kydex fingrips are easily removable as well it might be an option for featureless. Too bad...

What if i put a blast forwarding device over a muzzle brake/compensator with no (advertised) flash hiding?

No problem if the brake is pinned. Keneti-tech and others make those types.

AFAIK featureless RIFLES do not need permanence for their muzzle devices, that is to meet barrel length requirements. Threaded barrels are an AW feature for pistols.

If it isn't 16" it's a SBR, illegal under federal law. I wouldn't do that here or anywhere else without an ATF stamp.

I had this same thought. Technically, I think it would pass.
