Just curious, why'd you go with the sub2k over the Ruger PCC?

Build quality is definitely better on the PCC, and that might translate to slightly better accuracy.

I got the sub2000 basically because it is lighter(4lbs vs 7lbs), smaller profile, and can fold and use faster. Other than that the PCC is overall better. I wanted something compact, and can fold into a small space. The PCC can break apart, and be reassembled but it's not as convenient if seconds matter.

I have an ar15 for self defense or using as a battle rifle, it's better overall. so this sub2000 is mostly a fun range toy for me, it can be used as a nice backpack rifle though, it's easy for store for longer hikes or mountain climbing if thats your thing.

I agree with this. The only thing the sub2k has going for it, is it folds in half, other than that it's pointless. I don't like the sights and the fact you have to have your face against it to actually see through them. It's ok when you put a red dot on it.

Am I wrong in assuming the Sub2000 does shoot bullets?

If so then that's another good thing going for it. IT SHOOTS REAL BULLETS, not little round plastic balls or foam or water or a simul ammo, but REAL AMMO.

It also has an easy out button @ $12 for changing to whatever magazines you want (S&W, SIG, Beretta) with exception of the Glock which requires changing the grips at $60 plus a button.

For something that fits in the lunch box and weighs next to nothing you can't beat it.

But for reliability all the You-Tube video shootouts say nothing beats the High Point for reliability and accuracy. I have always wondered if they were all part of some High Point Conspiracy but several are from well noted gun review channels. I can't get over how but ugly that is hence why I ignored that recommendation.

I have found my Sub2000 to be very reliable and accurate enough when shooting range plinking ammo. It is very hard on the accessories as most all are custom to the platform like the optic mount.

What I really hate about the Sub2000 is the wide range of pricing. One day its $850 when you can find it, then its $350 on sale everywgere, then back to $549 and hard to find, then down to $459.....and the resell value is pretty low (outside of CA) as most sell in the $350 range.
