All those guys with ACR's and Magpul MBUS' I know some of them come from factory with those, but are they the same quality if you were to buy the MBUS separately from Magpul?

ok here is a slightly better (but still crap) pic of my Scar17

Pretty standard stuff on her. AAC flash hider, Tango Down Scar panels, Magpul RVG (sometimes switch out with AFG) . Miad pistol grip. Aimpoint CompM4 with a Larue Po' boy behind it.

Id like to switch out to a proper magnified optic, but I cant really justify spending the money right now, and I dont want to "cheat" my gun by getting a piece of junk.

How do you have a FA Scar? Can you buy an NFA ar sear and drop it in?

Hopefully soon I'll be able to contribute to this thread with my very own ACR

Can the ACR accept AR magazines? such as AR PMAGS?

An AR sear will not work in a SCAR. To see what a FA SCAR's internals look like
refer to my previous thread:

http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=473368

More select-fire SCAR porn:

It's going to be hard to top Technique's posts but its time to bring this thread back alive. Come on people post your pics!!

On the rifle is an Acog TA31F (also use a Eotech EXPS 2-0. Playing around with which optic to go with), Surefire M951, Magpul MIAD, Magpul RVG, Tango Down covers, Huskey Amentum Slider Sling, Battlecomp 1.0

nope, def dead.
Esp after I went back and watched Technique shooting the Mk16 again.
I tried to tell myself "he is just really good at bump firing" so I would not get too jealous. Didnt work...

Adding my SCARs to this post... still prefer my ACR (which I've also posted previously) but I still have love for the SCARs

SCAR 16

SCAR 17

Both have PWS Rail extensions and Magpul Safety Selectors... still undecided on optics for both; more than likely an ACOG for the 16... and the 17... who knows...

No money to dress her up with good optics & accessories.

Mixed in with other sisters, but looks shy & puny next to RAW Springfield SA-4800, (or should I say compact !)

Haha just got back from my first outing with her and hell yes I agree lol. Offhand shooting got pretty fatiguing after a short while. May also shed the Eo for a micro, but really just seems like a little less front blubber would be just right. Magnifier on or off didn't really make any noticeable difference... it was all in the nose

Finally, waited forever to get this shipped from texas and then dros'ed. 18 nail biting days.

But it gave me plenty of time to buy the mods/parts

Stock Block, Raddlock BB, Battlcomp 1.5 Stainless, Magpul Safety Select (much better than stock), New Ergo made for the Scar

Now i'm going through the eotech vs aimpoint vs Tr24 accupoint ordeal.
