Question (43) Walther P38 World War 2 pistol

I have a P38 that needs some repair. I replaced the recoil springs with Wolff springs and then discovered the ejector spring is missing. The ejector does not move freely up and down although it will move up and down when I push it with my finger. Can someone tell me how to replace the ejector spring and make sure it operates properly?? I watched a video on you tube by a guy named the nagant man and I tried emailing him but must have the wrong email address. I hope the Wolff spring set contains an ejector spring. I am a new member to this forum. Thanks Malvin mitchjeanette@bellsouth.net

Gun Parts Corp. is sold out but if you do a Google search something will turn up. The P1 uses the same spring, try that in your search. But...if you have the broken original spring, or can figure out the dimensions of the spring, you should be able to find an acceptable substitute at Ace Hardware. You don't need a gunsmith to replace a spring.
