Nice to see a new offering with some comon sense useful upgrades, instead of just the latest rail hangers. Especially like the safety improvement.

Who could afford one in this gun buying climate.
I would want an LWRC IC before, which i am sure would be cheaper.

People had to kick and scream for 10 years to get HK to build civi products. They really got burned in the last AW ban. Right now you can bet there are employees and managers in Germany saying, "we told you so". We'll see what happens.

I agree though, there's no reason they couldn't use that lower receiver and AGB on an MR556A2. (The MR556 already has the ambi safety that works with the hammer down)

Yea, they will sell one with a 16-inch bull barrel.. thumbhole stock, and 10-round single stack magazine well.. lol

HK isn't really "civilian" friendly as a company..

Man that is nice and I really love the rails on the H&K. Wish I had the money to buy one.

I love HK. Hopefully they will continue to expand there product line on the civilian market. They have been slowly softening up, especially with the release of the MR series, as well as the upper kits. Would be really nice to have an HK lower that excepts standard mags. As for the feature of the safety, the MR series has that capability already. Nonetheless it is a sweet looking rifle, I love the color choices for the receiver, its almost a dark grey mixed with FDE and the butt stock is more of a coyote tan color. Sort of reminds me of LWRC's old MRE finished guns.

That is one nice rifle but does he have to call it a "Assault Rifle"?

Photo is blocked for me here but I saw LWRC tossed around.

I'm assuming it's one of their M6 rifles? I'm working on trying to get a LWRC M6A2 SPR 16.1" upper and hopefully it pans out.

The US isn't really civilian friendly as a country either.

Isn't necro-bumping fun?

Now the HK416 is available as parts from Brownells and the Tavor is everywhere.
