Shooting a Desert Eagle in 44 mag is fun. Fun level goes higher if you acquire a 50 AE barrel, mags and ammo.

How about a reloading press and components? I usually don't go looking
for anything in particular when I shop, and hover over the used cases to
find an off roster gem...that's the life of a gun-loving CA serf. Cheers

I don't own a 460, but something about this makes sense to me, for you anyway.

SACRILEGE!!!! There is no such thing. I recently went down the custom Gucci Glock road in response to being "glocked out". Turns out there is no such thing. That said, it sounds like you have a pretty nice well rounded collection. I think you need to wrangle a ticket to shot show and see all the latest and greatest before making up your mind. Roster not withstanding.

How about a match .22 (ammo is fairly cheap and everyone should own a .22), or a single shot rifle cartridge gun.

Yes a model 617 22lr with a 4in barrel would be a great everyday farmer gun... 6in barrel more difficult in and out of truck and sitting down for me hunting.,, always have to grab holster and move it out of the way.. I sold my Ruger super blackhawk with 6 7/8 inch barrel for this reason.. SW 629 with 4in barrel solved the problem... Good luck...
Cheers...

I was thinking same thing. Sounds kinda crazy but how about a ruger bearcat. I gotta tell you, I got one for son for his 12th birthday a few years ago. Turns out I love it more than him. (Once he discovered my 1911s, nothing I could do!!). Or maybe a single six as it is a larger frame. But the bearcat is soooooo much fun.

That was my original intent, hoping to find something used that was a decent deal... sadly, there was very little in the used case. There was a sig 1911 that I asked about and fondled, but was priced too close to new for me to bite. Even made a decent offer, but owner declined...

Actually Ive thought about these, but idk... already have the SBH thatll do 454 and 45, not sure I want to venture down the 460 road... I dont hunt anything that I cant get it done with 454. I even know a guy that has one for sale, and Ive shot it in the past, just not sure Id ever shoot it. I find the SBH to be more enjoyable

AMT Automag Longslide in .45. Terminator gun.

Also, coonan 1911's in .357 is another excellent suggestion.
